Women's Health
Therapeutic Approach
My priority is to provide a safe and comfortable space for clients to identify and work on their therapeutic goals. I aim to make therapy a client-led process and adaptive to clients' specific needs.
I specialize in women’s health and feel passionate about supporting clients along the path of healing and growth. I also enjoy working with couples and families to improve dynamics and establish more fulfilling relationships.
I have a systemic and holistic view of people, relationships and health. I draw from the theoretical approaches of Experiential, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapies. I also integrate mindfulness and body-based/somatic practices into sessions.
In a typical therapy session we may…
-
Draw upon practices to regulate your nervous system to cultivate a calmer more grounded experience in your body,
-
Learn to attend to emotions,
-
Practice disengaging from unhelpful thoughts,
-
Explore the various parts of yourself,
-
Identify & attend to needs,
-
Untangle communication dynamics,
-
Process experiences & explore meaningful narrative
-
Increase awareness and intuition
-
Explore attachment and how it shows up
-
Learn skills relating to emotional regulation, self-awareness, intuition, interpersonal communication, self-compassion & acceptance
-
Explore values & beliefs
-
Connect to inner resources & sources of guidance

Desired changes may begin to happen as clients experience themselves and others in new ways. Many clients find that these new experiences compound in a positive way to create satisfying and positive long-term transformations.
I look forward to meeting you

About Me
Hello, I’m Liza. I’m glad you’re here and I look forward to meeting you.
When I am not working as a therapist, I enjoy traveling, reading, painting, and gardening. I feel a strong connection to the natural world and try to spend a portion of each day outside.

I am passionate about food as medicine as it has helped me immensely. I have also found joy in movement and strength training. Both continue to add greater dimension to my work as a therapist.

I feel honored to be in position where I may support others as they navigate life's challenges. I have learned firsthand that life rarely follows a linear path and that there is much joy to be found in spite of experiences of hardship.
In turning towards uncomfortable feelings and challenges, I have found helpful answers, healing, and guidance, in my own life.

I look forward to learning more about what's bringing you to this work and how we can shape it together.
